Illinois Shines is separate from any utility storage rebate. A storage rebate can force hourly pricing. We will tell you which path you are on before anyone sells a contract.

Solar Connect AI is partnered with Cox Roofing for Illinois roof + solar. A long energy plan on a short roof is a bad sequence. Cox looks at age, layers, and penetrations before anyone sets rails.

Roof work is a separate scope from a PPA or VPA. Credit and roof approval are still required. Your savings are guaranteed.

Not a check in the mail.

Illinois Shines is the state REC program. Utilities buy Renewable Energy Credits from Approved Vendors. That value may lower a PPA, lease, or purchase if the project qualifies.

This is not Illinois Solar for All. After January 1, 2025, supply-only net metering applies. A utility DG rebate is separate.

Is this free solar?

No. “Free solar” is not an offer we use. A qualifying PPA still means you pay for the power the system produces.

Will I save money?

Your savings are guaranteed on a qualifying PPA or VPA. Credit and roof approval required. We still run your bill before anyone comes to the house.

Who owns the LightReach system?
